Consulting and Contracting Arborists
Based in Stellenbosch
RVZ Consulting and Contracting Arborists PTY Ltd is a professional arboricultural firm delivering expert tree services across South Africa and beyond — combining scientific knowledge with hands-on experience.
Expert Arborists, Trusted Across South Africa
RVZ Consulting and Contracting Arborists PTY Ltd is a specialist arboricultural company based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. We combine the expertise of certified consulting arborists with a professional contracting team — offering clients a seamless, integrated service from initial assessment and reporting through to on-the-ground tree care and management.
Our work spans the full spectrum of arboricultural services: PSHB (Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer) management, certified arborist reports for development and municipal applications, tree health care programmes, professional pruning and maintenance, and large-scale estate tree management.
What distinguishes RVZ is our dual qualification as both consulting and contracting arborists. This means we can provide the certified report that an architect or developer requires, and then carry out the recommended tree work ourselves — with no disconnect between the assessment and the execution.

How We Work
Expertise First
Every assessment, report and tree operation is guided by certified arboricultural knowledge and evidence-based practice. We don't guess — we assess.
Honest Advice
We tell clients what their trees genuinely need — whether that is a treatment programme, a report for their municipality, or the difficult news that a tree cannot be saved.
Long-Term Thinking
Our goal is not a single job, but the long-term health and value of your property's trees. We design programmes that protect trees for generations.
Safety Always
Every tree operation is planned and executed with safety as the primary consideration — for our team, for your property, and for the public.
Professional Standards
Our reports, assessments and all work comply with South African and international arboricultural standards, including BS 3998, ANSI A300 and TRAQ protocols.
Local Knowledge
Based in Stellenbosch, we have deep knowledge of the Cape Winelands' tree populations, the PSHB crisis, local municipal requirements and estate management needs.
